CORAL & BALMORAL

The Battles of Coral and Balmoral involved major assaults on forward ANZAC operating bases in the area north of Saigon. The nearly month-long series of actions saw many other significant events unfold, from bunker complex battles to dozens of deadly contacts and ambushes. We have mapped out and explored the base and other battle areas in great detail, right across AO Surfers. ​There is a new Vietnamese memorial on the site of FSB Coral, and a small number of visitors to the area also take in the small memorial near (but not on) the site of the Balmoral base. We incorporate these along with many other significant and fascinating actions that took place to the area, providing the most in-depth and comprehensive experience of this significant part of the ANZAC story possible.
